Our Programs

Zenglen for Fond Parisien is a Not for Profit Organization with the mission to sustain one village at a time through education, nutrition, economic development and empowerment.

Begining with a portable water and nourishment program, we will assist partner organizations in distributing food and water to villages. With our own team we are building a One Stop Center for education, a hot meal and community organization to support each village in the reconstruction of vital structures such as: School buildings, Clinics and Churchees. Our vision is to assinst one village at a time and to enlist others to do the same, using celebrity status to help others.

None of us can survive without food

Nutrition is the key to proper growth, but a kind word can give hope to child in an impoverished nation. Give your time if not your money.

Zenglen helps Fond Parisien

Charity Begins at home. we can all do our part in our hometown and let it expand over the entire island nation.

           NUTRITION

Most of the children only receive one meal a day. Some will receive one hot meal. Others eat left over’s from nearby restaurants or the home of someone better off. Many of the children are not so lucky. They go days without food.

Our center at Fond Parisien, provides a safe place for children to flourish, learn new skills and interact with each other. There they receive a hot meal, alphabetization and sometimes a bath and proper clothing to return the next day.

EDUCATION
Although any secondary schooling must be done in the capital Port-au-Prince, the center provides a level of education that allows graduates to easily enter the next level with a strong foundation. Those who are more advanced and nearly adults are happy to teach the alphabet, reading, writing, grammar and mathematics to younger children in exchange for participation in more advanced tutoring. Our goal is to build a secondary school in Fond Parisien by 2011
DEVELOPMENT

The center is open to all families in the area. No one is turned away when they are in need and no one is kept away from the center.

Families who participate are in a work relief program where they provide time on a schedule allowing them to look for odd jobs in the area, but to put in some time in the projects that are being developed for the community. The first of which is a water pump for clean water supply in the center of town. The plan is to protect the pump during the night against vandalism and operate it mornings and evenings to provide water.

They are all our children

Empowerment

Our goal is to create a self-serving community that can feed it's children and work together as neighbors to maintain what they built, survive on their own efforts and develope their systematically. You can help by joining us on a Haiti Mission or just sending in your contribution to Zenglen 4 Haiti/ Fond Parisien organization.
